FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) Team for students in grades 7+ where students learn to code, design and compete with robots. Teams are given a new game each September and students build robots from a reusable platform powered by Android technology. Students code the robot using a variety of levels of Java-based programming. Students also create an Engineering Notebook to document their R&D process.

FTC Teams usually compete at one to two events in late winter and top teams advance to the NE District Championship and/or World Championship in April.

There is one team hosted at Rutland Middle School and we will be starting a second community team in Pittsford, VT this fall.
